I’m not stressing

I will not stress. I will not stress. DAMN I’M STRESSING! Had an interview yesterday (LOVELY JOB), didn’t think I’m going to hear from the people again for at least a week, until I had the phone call yesterday afternoon telling me that I have a “panel interview” THIS FRIDAY. Part of this panel is the EVP of the company…so NOT GOING TO STRESS.

Crap, no use, I’m stressing. Any solutions for this? At this stage I just want to get this interview over and done with, because this is emotionally draining!

Please keep your fingers, toes and everything cross you can cross!

Another day, another week

Wednesday 21 July and still no job…at least I have my contract at current company to work 3 days a week… And no, I will not take the first available job offered! I’m sick and tired of having to look for a new job every 2 years!!! Let’s see…retrenched at 2 companies and 2 companies closed down…you know what, emotionally its really exhausting. I’m SICK and TIRED of pimping myself…ughhh

At least I’m keeping busy and healthy! If you have time, visit Chantel the Guru’s blog where you can learn about living healthy and even losing some weight! (Seeing that I’m a bride to be..this is, of course, extremely important to me – and ANOTHER thing to stress about.)

Going to Langebaan tomorrow afternoon and on Friday I’ll be visiting my wedding venue. It’s called the “Weskusplek” and it’s situated in Jacobsbaai!! Decided to have a relative small and intimate wedding…60 people max. So off course I’m already preparing myself mentally for people that are probably going to be mad that I did not invite them!

Some good news

Weekend has come and gone and still no luck with work, but at least I had a wonderful weekend.Whoop whoop! (And I got my engagement ring back after the one stone fell out after just 4 days of wearing it)

On Friday I bought myself a new toy…the Lenovo i3 I have been playing on it the whole weekend and super excited. Bought it from Chaos Computers and have to say 10 out of 10 for service from them!

On Saturday I was part of the 300 000 people in Cape Town at the Fanpark for the soccer…GO GERMANY! Took the train in from Brackenfell train station and back! The vibe was AWESOME and I feel lucky to have been part of the 2010 Soccer World Cup!

Today I’m back in the office, have to say strange to sit here and being reminded that I use to be full time here and now only contract… I guess on the positive side I’m only working 3 days a week now, thus MORE TIME to play with my new baby!

No Luck

Ok…back to the drawing board…..unfortunately did not get the job I was hoping for, so now back to the job hunting..eish. I will not let this get me down. No I won’t. Well, at least I have 3 day a week contract from curren employer so that leaves me with income at the end of this month and time to look for another job! Tick Tock Tick Tock & Planning

Still waiting for this damn phone to ring!!! At least I had 2 phone calls from agencies. Both awesome women that have jobs suitable for me…so here’s holding thumbs.

O yes…and STILL WAITING for my ring to get fixed. Spoke to Mr. Jeweler this morning…apparently I broke the ring in the approximately 3 days I was wearing it and it’s my fault it’s broken. He will call me in a couple of days to tell me what’s happening.

Very “friendly” I told him that I will NOT WAIT ”a couple of days” for feedback. I expect feedback this afternoon…pffttt…. Do not piss of a Bride-to-Be that is basically jobless and stressing…..grrrr

Going for pamper session this afternoon for hair and nails…highlight of my day thus far…..

I also think this miserable weather is NOT working for my mood….

The waiting game

So I went for the interview on Friday…one of the most nerve wrecking interviews of my life..probably because I want that damn job so desperetaly….!!! And now the waiting game has begun…stomach in knots, can’t think straight.

I’m at this point where I’m staring at my BlackBerry hoping it will ring and then testing it, just in case it’s not working…..grrrrr HATE WAITING!!!

Talking about waiting…one of my stones also fell out of my engagement ring last Thursday…HIGHLY UPSET!!!!! Just got used to wearing the thing and now I’m without it again…eish!

FOCUS NOW ELIZCA

My heart is pounding, I can’t think straight…………I have my dream job interview this afternoon and can’t seem to get rid of these butterflies in my stomach!!!!!!!!! I just want it over and done with ASAP so I can start functioning like a normal person again.

So the position is for Portal Editor at a well known ISP company in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. SO not alone is it my DREAM JOB, it’s also closer to home! O yeah!!!!! So just have to try not to screw this interview up, as I always seem to start babbling when I get nervous! Please please please keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!!
